To Cambridge From Points West and North:
Follow US 50 East. About 10 or less minutes before you enter the city of Cambridge, you will pass through the town of Trappe. About five to six miles you will come to the Malkus Bridge going over the Choptank River. Speed limit drops to 45 past the middle of the bridge, then down to 35 as you enter Cambridge.
To Cambridge From Points East, South, and Northeast:
Follow US 50 West. About ten minutes or less before you enter the city limits you will enter the town of Linkwood. It has a lumber yard on the right. You should cross railroad tracks on US 50 at this point. As you near Cambridge, a WalMart should appear on your left. Stay on the left side of US 50 West being ready to turn according to the selection of options below. Be very cautious as you approach Cambridge whereas plenty of fender benders and worse occur in this stretch of the road.
Once you get in Cambridge . . .
As you enter Cambridge, you have three most direct options to get to our meeting locations, viz., Maryland Avenue (indicated in orange on the map above) or Cedar Street. Washington Street (MD 343) may also be used in case there is a major detour (sometimes due to flooding).
Maryland Avenue is the most direct way, however there is drawbridge over the Cambridge Creek bridge. Traffic is delayed when this bridge opens for boats.
Cedar Street avoids the bridge. However, in rare cases it is flooded. Washington Street (MD 343) and Maryland Avenue then remain options (unless Maryland Avenue is flooded).
Using Maryland Avenue (indicated in orange in the map above): Going eastbound on US 50 this will be on your right, and on your left if westbound. Take Maryland Avenue into the main portion of Cambridge. Go to the drawbridge which forms part of Market Street as shown the map and cross the bridge.
Using Cedar Street: Going eastbound on US 50 this will be on your right, and on your left if westbound. Take Cedar Street into the main part of Cambridge. Turn right at Academy Street. Continue north on Academy. Jubilee Christian Fellowship will be on your left before Market Street where the drawbridge is. Once you pass the drawbridge on your right the name of the street changes to Spring Street.
In the event Academy is closed, use Race Street going northward (turn right on to Race Street). After two streets to the right turn right on to Muir Street, then left on to Academy.
If you need to use Washington Street (MD 343), turn right on either Academy or Race and follow the directions above.
|Using Maryland Avenue:|
Just over the drawbridge.
|Using other streets besides Maryland Avenue:|

If you use Maryland Avenue, after crossing the drawbridge turn right onto Spring Street. Using Cedar Street, Washington Street, or a detour mentioned above, once you are on Academy Street continue on that street going past Jubilee Christian Fellow. Keep going straight and it turns into Spring Street. Just continue briefly on Spring Street. To your right will be the Circuit Court. To your left is the County Public Library. Park in the library parking lot. You will see two doors close together on the Spring Street side. Enter the door on the right to the meeting room. This facility is handicap accessible.

Follow the same directions above for the County Public Library, but turn right on to Court Street as if going to Stewart Hall. Turn right on to High Street and continue to the circle. This is Long Wharf.
